This past week Clerkenwell was bristling with vitality for Clerkenwell Design Week 2024. Our Notch team were lucky enough to attend to experience this unique global design event and vibrant spirit that pulsated through the ever increasing network of historic streets, adorned with it's exhibitions, installations, showrooms and workshops.

Where else would you come across a working Church such as St James (just off Clerkenwell Green) where the juxtaposition of Christian symbolism with a pop-up exhibition housing the 'The British Collection' is delivered with such skilled curation.

There was so much to be inspired by with the mouth-watering feast of beautifully curated interior products.

We can't wait for Clerkenwell Design Week (21-23 May) '24. Our three Notcheteers will be there throughout to meet with friends and clients from the design community, be wholly inspired and enjoy all the events and conversations on offer. It's one of our highlights of the year and truly shows off the creative talent that the UK brings to the world.

It’s incredible to think that esteemed architect Renzo Piano designed the concept for The Shard in literally seconds over a business lunch. This extraordinary vertical city with its workspaces, restaurants and apartments has re-defined the London skyline and in so doing has transformed the whole neighbourhood known as London Bridge. We are in awe of the architectural aura it creates and its presence in the area. We are constantly inspired by the world around us.
